Why Train With Us?


I started training people in the 90's and one of the earliest and longest lasting lessons I learned was this: With regards to exercise programs, the biggest obstacle for most people is lack of time. As we go from our twenties through our thirties, forties, fifties and beyond, our priorities and responsibilities change. We end up spending so much time addressing other needs that squeezing time into our schedules for our own health and fitness becomes more challenging.

So I made it a priority to design training programs that didn't require 10-15 hours per week and workouts that didn't need to be 90 minutes long. Through eliminating unnecessary exercises, combining others and keeping the workouts intense but brief and safe, we were all able to maximize the return on our time investment. Most of us found we got better results this way as opposed to the marathon workout schedule anyway!

But over time we learned that even though the program, workouts, and exercises were not only effective, but fun - we still had a time related obstacle: Travel and scheduling.

From a geographical perspective, quite often the people with whom we'd like to work aren't close to us. (That goes for both exerciser and trainer...) Plus, even if distance wasn't an issue and the exerciser was able to carve out a few hours per week to devote to my programs, they weren't necessarily the same few hours per week I was available. This resulted in many workouts rescheduled or completely missed.

The challenge became how to implement personalized, progressive workouts based on science and experience without the travel and scheduling hassles, but still maintain the same high level of coaching.

Easy: Move it online. It is 2018, after all. Communicating with each other and staying in touch is pretty easy.

My online training programs literally eliminate every obstacle a busy adult may have to overcome to look and feel great again. Effective workouts, personally designed for each individual (no one size fits all cookie cutter garbage), with coaching to ensure continued progress - without the time, distance or scheduling hassles.

And oh by the way - it's less expensive than hiring a high level coach in person. Going online saves me a lot of travel and scheduling hassle too, which allows me to keep costs down.

My goal is to get you to look, feel and perform the way you want to and I'm looking for clients who want to work together to get it. Because yes, it's a two way street - there's a level of discipline and commitment required from you to get this done.
