- "I got to a point where I wasn't feeling great - low energy, achy, less functional with day to day activities, etc. I've known Jon for a long time, but I live too far away for me to train with him in person. When he started his online personal training, I decided to give it a shot. With the program he designed for me (after a thorough assessment and Q and A with me) I'm moving a lot better which at my age is huge, I've lost a few pounds - some pants that didn't fit are more wearable - and I realized many exercises and day to day activities weren't so difficult anymore."

"I had trained with Jon in person and even though it was great - I was definitely more toned, stronger and more energetic, which helped me both at work and at home - but the travel distance just became too much of an obstacle. When I switched to his online personal training, I was able to implement the program he was using with me in person, at home on my own. And the coaching check-ins allowed us to keep changing the workouts so I felt like I was still being challenged as I improved. I've lost weight and I definitely feel more productive at work and as a parent."

"I had trained with Jon in person for a long time but because I moved and I also had a career change, it became increasingly difficult to get to him regularly. With his online coaching, now I feel like when I go to the gym on my own or when I work out at home I feel like he's right there! I know exactly what exercises to do and how to do them. (And if I do have a question or issue, he coaches me through it with a quick email or video). I've always had knee and back issues, and they've been gone since using Jon's programs."

"I went through a stretch in my schedule a while back that between work commitments and personal commitments, I couldn't get to the gym at all for an extended period - I really felt awful. When I was ready to get back to it, I was embarrassed because I knew I would be starting at square one and unable to do things I used to do. So instead of public humiliation I tried Jon's online personal training. Not only did it get me back to where I was, but I was actually in better shape using Jon's programs on my own than I had been when I went to the gym by myself. The personal selection of the exercises I think is what did it - whatever the reason, I stuck with it because it's still working!"

"I started coming to the Training Rim about 9 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made for my health. At the time I was doing a lot of kickboxing and yoga, and I was having pain in my shoulders and knees from repetitive strain. After adjusting to what exercise is, I noticed that I didn't hurt so much any more and I was becoming addicted to my workouts. Not only was I becoming stronger, having less pain, and feeling leaner and healthier, I was having fun! I wasn't getting as sick as often as I was (having asthma makes me vulnerable to many colds and respiratory infections).
Having asthma kept me from participating in many sports as a child and young adult. This summer, I signed up for and completed two Spartan Races - it was the most agonizing fun I have ever had! Never in my life did I think I could do these sorts of things but the TR trainers and fellow members had confidence in me and gave me the courage to try.
I'm a 45 year old mom with a 4 and 6 year olds with 2 teenage step children. I have my own business so time is not something I have a lot of. The TR is my one priority I have to do for myself and to make sure I can function for my family. It makes me feel great and clears my head. You have to make the time and effort to be dedicated to this, but IT IS WORTH IT. Just do it!"

"After training for multiple marathons I had torn the meniscus in my knee. This problem affected my workouts and I felt I needed more variety than I could come up with myself. I then decided to train with Jon...
I never thought I needed a trainer due to my educational background and the fact that I was consistent with my workouts. Right after I started working with Jon, I realized consistency gets you nowhere if you're not doing the right things. Jon's workouts are intense without being insane. He knows when and how far to push without the client saying 'this is ridiculous'. I noticed my legs and core got stronger and this in turn improved my running. His knowledge of anatomy and physiology is extensive and he applies it to a personalized program which helped me achieve my goals. He's a very dedicated trainer (and he's pretty funny, too!)

"Jon Rimmer is one of the best trainers in the nation. I can say unequivocally that Jon is the only trainer I would trust with my clients and athletes. He is intelligent, and his practical ways of applying that know-how are even more impressive. It isn't often that you meet trainers at the level that Jon is at; employing his services would be a wise addition to your training."
- Jon Messner - Trainer, MS Exercise Science
"I have had the pleasure of knowing and working Jon Rimmer for the past few years. Jon introduced me to core strength training and it not only enhanced my career as a personal trainer but helped me to reach higher levels of performance in racing. I have had the opportunity to run several marathons over the last few years and by working with and learning new techniques from Jon my times have dramtically decreased. In 2005 I ran my first marathon in 3:50 just recently in 2008 I ran the NYC ING Marathon in 3:10. Hard work and dedication in the gym pays off as well as the skills and techniques learned from Jon."
- Bronawyn O'Leary - Trainer, Competitive Marathoner, BS Physical Education
"I love Jon's common sense, straight up, tell it like it is, approach to fitness. I mirror this philosophy in my Physical Education classes with my students and in application with my own personal training for the basketball court. His practical tips and warnings of tricks reinforce everything I teach. Be fit to function and you will enjoy everything you do. Thanks Jon!"
